Christmas came early this year. Today I received this amazing 3kg package of all kinds
of Yokomo parts.
Soon i will start building it, setting it up, and making it a proper drift machine to put a great show in Tsukuba in December.
DIB review is not something unique, but for some of my Russian readers I will do it, as they requested.
This is what you find when you open the box.
Two bags with more bags in them, a deck, antenna casing and a bumper. Nothing really special.
The manual, option parts list, Wheels catalog, strange sticker and probably a feedback postcard.
Together with that, I have a bunch of stuff
Some D-max springs. First thing when setting up a car
Both aluminum conversions for bling, stiffness, and weight of course.
New Yokomo knuckles and caster blocks. According to my friend review, they work pretty good.
1.3 CS, 2.0 rear pivot block and 0 rear knuckles.
Some spurs will come handy for FDR settings
Spacers, spool inserts just in case, Rods and rod ends for some custom modifications and TS shafts for more angle.
Yokomo Gullflame wheels for my BMW, and a Yokomo BLR3 ESC.
Turned out, it's a hobbywing ESC and it needs a programming card to set it up. Need to get that somewhere.
That's it for now. Stay tuned for the build next week and more info on the chassis and setup.
Hi... Just found your blog when looking up DIB setups. Just purchased a Gun Metal DIB and was wondering if you would mind sharing your setup with me.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
